What Gusto has for certified payroll
Gusto's admin reports include payroll, tax, time and benefits reports, but no certified payroll or WH-347 report as of October 8, 2026 [Gusto help]. The data is there; the WH-347 layout, WD classifications and fringe columns are not.
Export the Payroll Journal
- Go to Reports, then Payroll Journal.
- Set the date range to the pay period. Use the Employee filter if only part of the crew worked on the project.
- Select Generate Report.
- Select Download and choose CSV [Gusto help].
Export daily hours (if you use Gusto Time Tracking)
- Go to Reports and select Time Tracking Hours.
- Set the date range and select Generate Report.
- Download as CSV [Gusto help].
For hours by project, Gusto's project tracking report (under Time & Attendance) can be downloaded as CSV too. Without daily time, you type each worker's days in LevelWage's grid; the total has to match the journal before you can submit.
Build the WH-347 from Gusto
Upload the Payroll Journal CSV (and the hours CSV if you have it). Pick each worker's WD classification once, confirm the days, and get back a checked WH-347 package. Pay periods that cross workweeks are split by date.
