About eMars

A 2021 trade press piece describes eMars/Compliant Client as created in 2001 to help construction company owners stay compliant with the Davis-Bacon Act, paperless and web-based (MCS Magazine). We could not load emarsinc.com on October 8, 2026 to check current features or prices, so we are not comparing them line by line. If eMars shares current details with us, we will add them.

How LevelWage differs

  • Public prices, per project. $149 covers every weekly report on one project for 12 months; $19 for a single report; $59 a month for everything. Nothing to negotiate.
  • Built from your payroll export. Upload QuickBooks, Gusto, ADP, CSV, Excel or a PDF register; pick classifications once.
  • Checked before you see it. Every line recomputed against your WD in cents; underpayment blocks the report; a person reviews anything unusual.
  • A fix-it promise. If a report is returned for a math or form error on our side, we fix it within one business day and refund that week.
  • Try it free. Your first report costs nothing and needs no card.

Frequently asked questions

How much does eMars cost?
eMars does not show prices we could read: its website blocked our access on October 8, 2026, and we found no current public price list. Ask eMars for a quote. LevelWage prices are public: $19 a report, $149 a project, $59 a month unlimited, first report free.
Can I switch from eMars mid-project?
Yes. Start LevelWage with the next payroll number on the project (for example payroll 8 if eMars produced 1 to 7). Your first report is free, so you can compare the output side by side before you decide.
